Labor Day Celebration

Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. Join the Active Adult Group for an extraordinary celebration on our regularly scheduled Tuesday for entertainment and wonderful food!

Men's Day/Night Out

It’s an evening out for the Men and that’s ok with the ladies! Our annual Men’s Night out is sure to please you this year with a performance by Dennis Watkins, a strolling magician and comedian! You will enjoy a hilarious magical outline of classic magic tricks and illusions packed with laughter, surprises and a magical canary! Lunch will be served at 11:30.

Senior Fall Heath Fair

State Representative Dennis Reboletti invites the community to attend this Senior Health Fair on Wednesday, September 23rd from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Community Rec Center – Multi-Purpose room . The event is open to the public and free of charge. Guests will receive a complimentary gift bag and enjoy entertainment and refreshments.

Reminiscing with Larry

Enjoy a lite snack while listening to this nostalgic program that brings back pleasant memories of the 1930's in a musical history of the singers, orchestras, movies, cartoons, and old time radio. Featured are the songs of Guy Lombardo, Wayne King, Kate Smith, Al Jolson, Rudy Vallee, Ruth Etting, Russ Columbo, Shirley Temple, Fred Astaire, Spike Jones, Little Orphan Annie, Tom Mix, Snow White, Popeye, and more. Senior Halloween Celebration

Active Adults members in our community are invited to a gala Halloween party, Tuesday, Oct. 27th , put on by the Addison Park District, Active Adult Group. The party will run from 12-3 p.m., at the senior center. Reservations are required. Costumes are optional. We will have a spooktacular time!
